Frequently Asked Questions
Who is eligible to be nominated for an award?
Black women or African descent who exemplifies the qualities of leadership, strength, creativity and community impact in her field. Business must have a LLC or Business license registered in the following states: Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee, Louisiana, or Florida. Nominees must be at least 18 years old and must be available to attend the ceremony if selected as a finalist.
Can I nominate myself for an award?
Yes! We encourage self-nominations. Many extraordinary women don't receive the recognition they deserve because they don't have someone to nominate them. If you embody the spirit of the Majestic Queen Lioness, we want to hear from you.
How are the winners selected?
Our selection process involves public voting, however, if requirements are not met it will result in disqualification.
Is there a dress code for the event?
Yes, the event is Black( semi-formal) with Gold Accents. We encourage attendees to embrace the theme of "Majestic Queen Lioness" with elegant attire incorporating black and gold elements.
